If there is a conflict between these website terms and the Ticket Terms and Conditions concerning a ticket or event booking, the Ticket Terms and Conditions will take priority for that issue.

Views expressed by a speaker, contributor, sponsor, partner or attendee are their own unless we expressly state otherwise. Their participation does not necessarily mean that we endorse every statement, product, service or organisation associated with them.
10. Tickets and Eventbrite
Tickets are purchased and processed through Eventbrite.
When you follow an Eventbrite link or use an Eventbrite booking feature, your use of that platform is also subject to Eventbrite’s own terms, privacy information and technical processes.
The contract for admission to The Pivot Conference is governed by our Ticket Terms and Conditions, together with the ticket information displayed before purchase.
Ticket prices, taxes, mandatory fees and the total amount payable should be displayed before an order is completed. Questions about a Pivot Conference ticket may be sent to info@thepivotconference.com.
11. Applications, Enquiries and Submissions
The website may allow you to submit an enquiry, speaker application, sponsorship enquiry, partnership proposal, media request, accessibility request, job or supplier information, feedback or other material.
You must ensure that information you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to provide it.
Submitting an application, proposal or enquiry does not guarantee selection, acceptance, a response by a particular date, a speaking opportunity, sponsorship, partnership, employment, media access or any other commercial relationship.
Unless separate confidentiality terms have been agreed in writing, you should not submit confidential business information, trade secrets or material belonging to another person that you are not authorised to share.

12. Rights in Material You Submit

If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.
We do not exclude or limit any statutory consumer rights.
We are not responsible under these website terms for ticket cancellation, postponement, refunds or admission matters, which are dealt with in the separate Ticket Terms and Conditions.
20. Our Responsibility to Business Users
If you use the website wholly or mainly for business purposes, then, subject to liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded,
- we will not be liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts, anticipated savings, data, goodwill, reputation or business opportunity arising solely from use of, or inability to use, the website;

- Our liability in relation to a separate sponsorship, supplier, speaker, partnership or other commercial agreement will be governed by that agreement.
Nothing in this section excludes liability where exclusion would be unlawful or unreasonable under applicable law.

If you breach these terms, we may take reasonable action, including the following:
- warning you;
- removing submitted material;
- temporarily or permanently restricting website access;
- cancelling an application or website submission where the breach is relevant to it;
- protecting our legal rights; or
- reporting unlawful activity to an appropriate authority.
Any action will be proportionate to the circumstances and will not remove rights that you have under a separate ticket contract or applicable law unless those rights are lawfully affected by the breach.
22. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
We are not responsible for website delay, interruption or failure caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as failures of internet, hosting, electricity or communications services; cyber incidents; third-party platform outages; emergency maintenance; natural events; government action; or other events that we could not reasonably prevent.
This section does not remove any remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
23. Severability and No Waiver
If a court or competent authority finds that part of these terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
If we do not enforce a provision immediately, that does not mean that we waive the provision or lose the right to enforce it later.

This does not affect any right or remedy that exists independently under applicable law.

If you are a consumer resident in another part of the United Kingdom, you may also benefit from mandatory protections available where you live and may be entitled to bring proceedings in your local courts.
If you use the website for business purposes, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these website terms, unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
